The Main Duties of this position include:

• Handling yacht claims from FNOL to settlement

• Maintaining an effective reserving policy and effective management of claims payments

• Strong relationship management with insurers, the internal yacht team and producers alike, maintaining positive dialogue and transparency in progress of claims.

• Full management of claims within an agreed threshold and liaison with insurers over that threshold for notification, approval and payment.

• Active communication with the Finance department in respect of claims settlements on behalf of insurers.

• Managing the workload of the part time yacht claims assistant and others as the team grows.

Requirements:

• Over 5 years experience working in Claims

• Previous experience and knowledge of Marine or Yacht Claims

• Knowledge and oversight of the yacht portfolio to provide advice relevant to the underwriting of the account.

• Accurate record keeper with the ability to streamline and improve the efficient processing of all claims.
