An exciting opportunity to work with an innovative, expanding, and successful Lloyd’s Syndicate based in the heart of the City. Specialising in insurance lines to include Property, Casualty, Construction, Financial Lines, Cyber, Technology, A&H and PVT. This opportunity will be a key central function to their collaborative claims team, as well as other areas of the business.
They are seeking a Claims Operations Technician to be part of their extremely reputable claims team, with ten very experienced professionals. You’ll be responsible for performing day-to-day operations throughout various areas of the business, and ensuring the claims team meets their outstanding claims service.
You’ll work closely with the claims team, underwriters, third parties, DCAs, and receive hands on training from the line manager, support towards CII qualifications, and work amongst a personable and professional culture.
Responsibilities:
- Resolution of claim bordereaux data quality issues & processing
- Onboarding and due diligence process for new delegated claims administrators (DCAs)
- Co-ordination of delegated claims audits, technical claims peer reviews and following up on DCA actions
- Report to internal stakeholders on key performance indicators from DCAs, liaison with DCAs to feedback and resolve SLA breaches
- Monitoring of loss fund balances, including assessment of adequate funding and identification of reconciliation issues
- Collaborate with claims and wider business stakeholders to gain complete understanding of risks and challenges associated with outsource claims arrangements
- Ensuring key technology systems are operating efficiently
- Ensure the claims team meets service level standards via various workstreams
- Ad-hoc support to claim handlers and management
- Delivery of claims transition projects and market initiatives
