Your new company

Your new company is a boutique Lloyd's Insurance broker based in the heart of the City of London, and they are looking for a Remote Claims Technician to join their business. Salary is very competitive, offering the opportunity for remote working or hybrid working, depending on your preference.

Your new role

A large part of your role will be centred on the processing and reporting of managed accounts, handling North American Open market and Binder claims from cradle to grave, processing the monthly bordereaux, and compiling loss runs on request from internal stakeholders of the business.

You will be expected to liaise with third party claims insurers and administrators when bordereau issues arise, build, and maintain strong relationships to ensure their service meets regulatory requirements and the requirements of their clients. You will also need to maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of claims files on the Risk Serve system and continuously monitor the progress of each claim.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need a strong understanding of London market Claims Processing (ECF/CLASS required). You must be aware of the most up-to-date regulatory legislation, and you must have a good grasp on the legal principles of insurance. Previous experience in handling North American Non-Marine Claims is a MUST.

You will also need to be a great team player, highly organised with a friendly and professional telephone manner and show great attention to detail. You will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry, and you will be confident using Microsoft Excel and Word.
