Reporting To: Claims DA Manager
We are seeking a skilled Claims Technician to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will deliver a high-quality, efficient claims service to customers, specifically focusing on binding authority claims bordereaux. The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy environment and enjoy working collaboratively with clients, underwriters, and colleagues.
Main Duties:
- Prepare and review bordereaux collection files for effective presentation to underwriters.
- Create entries and maintain accurate financial records using relevant systems.
- Produce claims statistics and collaborate with other teams to generate earned-to-incurred data.
- Complete TT requisitions and liaise with the accounts team for payments.
- Manage claims payments under the supervision of a senior colleague or manager.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, TPAs, insurers, and internal teams.
- Adhere to company systems and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
Education / Training / Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar claims role.
- Solid knowledge of Delegated Authority contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with London Market IT systems, including CLASS, ECF, and IMR.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in insurance-related matters.
