We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster, based at their office in the heart of London. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of Reinsurance claims, whilst also participating in claims audits, assisting Underwriters and Reserving Actuaries, and collaborating with other areas of the company on various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively handling Reinsurance claims arising from a variety of classes of business, including Casualty, Specialty and Property.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key brokers and internal / external stakeholders.
- Assisting with developing (re)insurance knowledge within the team.
- Assisting Underwriters in renewal meetings as required, and providing feedback from a Claims perspective.
- Participating in client visits and audits as required.
- Represent the company at market meetings, and as part of market committees.
- Supporting Claims team members in the participation of claims audits.
Key Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience of handling Reinsurance Claims.
- Strong mathematical / analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
