We are currently recruiting for a Senior Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very well established and highly regarded Lloyd's syndicate.

The key purpose of the role is to handle a portfolio of Financial Institutions and Directors and Officers Claims, providing expert technical support across the claims function as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Building effective tools, processes and governance to minimise regulatory, legal and operational risk, and ensuring operational reporting is accurate and delivered within required timelines.
Supporting the regulatory and legislative response and adherence to standards, embedding any required change or mitigation required within the designated claims portfolio.
Supporting the implementation of the group claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets and performance against KPIs.
Investigating and resolving technical and operational issues within the designated claims portfolio.
Providing expert technical support across the claims function as needed.
Fostering strong relationships with brokers, third parties and our customers via multi-channel engagement and focused forums.
Producing regular statistical and analytical Claims information to Underwriters, Claims Portfolio Head and senior leadership to enable effective monitoring of Claims.
Developing / maintaining sufficient knowledge of the Claims portfolio to enable and provide an excellent Claims handling service with minimal leakage.

Key Requirements

Must have previous FinPro claims handling experience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
