Our client, a prestigious Lloyd's Managing Agency, have a new opening for a Senior Claims Adjuster within their Engineering & Heavy Industry team.Our client are seeking an experienced claims professional with knowledge of handling complex Heavy Industry and Engineering claims in the London insurance market. The successful candidate will proactively adjust complex claims from their initial notification through settlement. They will need to act as a subject matter expert for the portfolio and collaborate with the underwriting team.You will ensure that delegated claims are managed in accordance with company claims values; ensuring effective oversight of TPAs/service providers via regular reporting on key performance indicators, peer reviews, file reviews, and general sharing of best practice. You will also instruct and proactively work with panel lawyers, adjusters, and experts to ensure the best outcomes whilst controlling costs and reducing claims leakage.Applicants should be a technical expert with extensive working knowledge of handling complex claims in the Engineering, Construction and/or Heavy Industry classes in the London market.
