New Vacancy - Senior Claims Adjuster - ReinsuranceLloyd's Syndicate City of London I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their expanding Reinsurance team.My client is looking for a Claims Professional with experience handling Casualty Reinsurance Claims, ideally on a Quota Share basis but they also deal with Clash and XOL business. The role will cover a range of classes including Property, Marine and more but Casualty is the main focus for this position. Experience handling Lloyd's & Company Claims using ECF is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with brokers, clients, and third parties to adjust claims according to company guidelines, authority limits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the Syndicate in the market by attending meetings, supporting underwriters, and participating in industry events.
  • Provide guidance to Claims Adjusters, address issues, and escalate any necessary improvements to management.
  • Responsible for managing claims across different accounts and classes of business, utilizing various platforms.
  • Keeping clients and brokers informed throughout the claim process is crucial, as is adhering to agreed upon terms and timelines.
  • Collaborating with actuaries and underwriters, as well as setting case reserves, will also be part of your role.
  • Investigating claims, ensuring policy conditions are met, and negotiating resolutions.
  • Work with brokers to address missing information and pursue recovery from third parties when necessary.
