Arthur is excited to be collaborating with a highly regarded, leading Lloyd’s Syndicate in their search for a Senior Cyber Claims Adjuster to join their already successful and highly regarded team based in the heart of the Lloyd’s Insurance market. My client is a market leading Cyber Insurer, they are looking to recruit a motivated and skilled individual who is passionate about Cyber as a class of business. This is rare opportunity to join a cyber team at a top 5 Lloyd’s of London syndicate with global operations.Cyber insurance claims are currently hot topics in the news with high profile ransomware attacks, cyber extortion, and social engineering frauds all making news headlines. The Senior Claims Adjuster will handle and adjust a variety of both high and low value complex Cyber insurance claims from first notification to final resolution working within the London based Cyber Claims team. Your Role:
  • To proactively adjust claims within your authority level and in accordance with the companies claims vision and obligations, ensuring and delivering excellent service to all their customers, these will include a focus on the complex claims
  • To ensure that sufficient financial provisions, in accordance with the companies reserving philosophy, are held for all claims under your handling
  • To instruct and proactively oversee lawyers, adjusters and experts from the company’s panel
  • Assist the Claims Manager with the oversight of delegated claims authority holders (“DCAs”), service providers or outsource partners, who provide services in respect of your team, flagging any issues of concern to the Claims Manager and working to remediate these concerns
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Cyber underwriting and claims portfolio and ensure a close collaborative working partnership with underwriters to help them to develop business in accordance with their business plan, contributing to the winning of business and act as a brand ambassador for the company
  • To develop and maintain relationships, and drive and oversee your team’s relationships, with key external customers (key brokers, external vendors, and where relevant, coverholders and insureds)
  • To assist the Claims Manager with the training and development of more junior members of the Cyber Claims team
Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • A proven track record of effective management of cyber claims demonstrating a high level of technical competency
  • Knowledge of key issues affecting the cyber insurance market
  • Coverholder management and oversight
  • Lloyd’s claims scheme and related claims handling systems
  • Ability to prioritise and proactively meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken, including the ability to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Computer literacy in standard business software including MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
  • An eagerness to learn and develop new skills in cyber insurance as part of their own professional development
  • Customer focused and keen to provide the highest quality of service delivery
