Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess policy coverage and liability for all received claims notifications.
  • Manage and settle claims on policies written by my client, ensuring accurate reserve calculations and effective management of cross-market exposures.
  • Process Class/ECF and direct claim advices, handle treaty statements, and manage cash calls efficiently, adhering to internal KPIs, minimum standards, and market expectations.
  • Provide high-quality commentary on relevant movements, highlighting significant notifications, claims trends, or key developments.
  • Conduct claims audits and reviews of service providers and other third parties as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Underwriting, Actuarial, and Finance teams.
  • Review and update internal databases with relevant claims data.
  • Ensure data accuracy within the claims system.
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies.
  • Act in accordance with my client's claims philosophy.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and optimisation of claims processes and systems for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate on compliance reporting matters as required.
