New Vacancy - Senior Reinsurance Claims Adjuster City of London Lloyd's Syndicate

I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their growing Reinsurance team.

This role will be covering Reinsurance Treaty and Facultative Property and Casualty Claims arising from Excess of Loss, Proportional Treaty and Facultative business. My client is looking for someone with 10+ years experience in this space with good knowledge of ECF/CLASS. Jurisdictions are worldwide minus the US so experience here is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate policy coverage and liability for all received claims notifications.
  • Oversee and resolve claims related to policies written by the business, ensuring precise reserve calculations and managing cross-market risks.
  • Promptly process ECF/CLASS and Direct claims notifications, handle treaty statements, and manage cash calls while adhering to internal KPIs, minimum standards, and market expectations.
  • Deliver insightful commentary on relevant changes, drawing attention to significant notifications, claims trends, or developments.
  • Conduct Claims Audits and Reviews for Service Providers and other third parties as necessary.
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with the Underwriting, Actuarial, and Finance Teams.
  • Review and keep internal databases up to date with relevant claims information.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data in the claims system.
  • Adhere to all pertinent company procedures and policies.
  • Align actions with the Claims philosophy.
  • Contribute to the improvement and enhancement of claims processes and systems for sustained advancement.
  • Collaborate as necessary on all matters related to Compliance reporting.
