Roles & Responsibilities:
Review and investigate all crane &installation sub-contractors as well as support logistics for any transportation cost and time claims
Assess the compliance and level of fulfilment of sub-contractors scope according the applicable term and conditions (i.e SOW, Schedule of Prices, etc)
Lead claim negotiations and document agreements or disputes with sub-contractors as needed
Initial and ongoing point of contact to internal and external business partners for the duration of the claim
Ensures accountability and manages relevant claim details, implement plan for timely resolution of claims
Provide regular update on claim status to Site Manager, Project Manager and any other related partner supporting the assigned project
Prepare ad-hoc reports to management when required
Support Project Managers to prepare data to substantiate the clients claims vs Customer (i.e. Liquidated Damages claims)
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to professionally communicate both verbally and written with employees and outside partners,
Must be well organized, detailed oriented, and able to adjust to changing priorities
Experience using data analytics and software to resolve claims disputes and protect the client
Possess advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Available for international travel
Bachelors degree on Business Management, Industrial Engineering, strong preference for Law/Legal background
Minimum 5 years proven experience on similar position
Note:
This position is available to support projects on a remote basis (home office), however, the Claim Manager shall be available to travel once or twice every 2 months or as needed due to the project complexity.
