Account Handler - Property - About the role
Fantastic opportunity to join my client’s growing Real Estate / Property InsuranceTeam
You may be given a small book to manage dependant on experience - ultimately this role is designed to take work away from the execs and help with their admin burdens , putting presentations together, uploading info and producing compliant documents from Acturis as well as processing invoices, updating electronic files and dealing with Amendments / MTAs etc
Account Handler - Property - Key duties
Client Management
Provide prompt and professional responses to client queries, ensuring high satisfaction.
Understand client insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options.
Assist with renewals and ensure continuity of cover.
Policy Administration
Accurately process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
Maintain up-to-date client records and review policy documentation for accuracy.
Insurer Negotiation
Liaise with insurers to secure favourable terms for clients.
Negotiate premiums and coverage to ensure value.
Compliance and Regulation
Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards.
Stay informed about regulatory updates to maintain best practices.
Collaboration and Teamwork
Work closely with Account Executives to deliver seamless service.
Mentor less experienced team members and share best practices.
Account Handler - Property - Key duties
Previous experience in an account handling role within the insurance sector.
Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
Familiarity with insurance platforms and client management systems.
Strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
CII / ACII qualification or a willingness to pursue it.
Experience with Acturis or similar systems.
