SENIOR CREDIT CONTROLLER - £40k - £46k DOETheir newly refurbished office is not one to shy away from, it will make you start reconsidering your working from home days! Saving the best until last - they have their very own café and barista to serve up a warm latte before you get your day started, with a pool table and seating area around the kitchen.About The Role:

  • Generate and distribute monthly statements for broker accounts.
  • Allocate incoming funds and request necessary closings and slips from brokers.
  • Proactively contact debtors via phone, email, and online meetings to secure payments.
  • Identify overdue debts and escalate issues as needed.
  • Foster strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders to support the collection process.
  • Organise and lead regular meetings with different business units to address credit control challenges and escalations.
  • Continuously assess and improve current processes, eliminating inefficiencies and driving ongoing improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in recorded premiums, working with the technical team to correct any inaccuracies.
  • Address unallocated cash issues and provide feedback to prevent mis-postings.
  • Performing ad hoc duties as assigned by management

To be considered for this role, you will have to have the right skills. Some essentials are:

  • 5 years of Credit Control experience in the Insurance sector.
  • Minimum 3 of those years have to be in the London market
  • Need to be experienced in either Property, Cargo, or Aviation.
  • Working with global currencies
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience with Pivot tables / VLOOKUPs
