Assistant Legal CashierIs this the role for you?If you have at least two year's experience in a finance or cashiering role in a legal firm, this could be a great move for you. We are working with a highly regarded firm who truly value their people and are undergoing a period of substantial growth.This role offers great opportunities for longer term progression into the field of Operations, Finance or Human Resources.What you will do:Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining ledgers, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR) and Anti Money Laundering regulations.
- Supporting monthly and year-end cashiering duties, SAR audits, and compliance training.
- Preparing financial reports, billing forecasts, and KPIs for partners.
- Preparing bills for fee earners, reviewing matter lists and resolving issues.
- Managing office expenses, supplies, file management, archiving and ad hoc administrative tasks.
- Assisting the Partners and Operations team in ensuring smooth office operations.
- At least two years' experience in a similar role within a legal firm
- A self-motivated and organised approach to your work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships
- A willingness to "pitch in" and help out wherever is needed
