Broker Support TechnicianLondon/ Home-Based£40,000 - £60,000A boutique Lloyd's insurance Broker has the requirement for a Technician to come on board and support their Financial Lines broking team in the City of London. They would ideally like someone present in the office 2 days per week, but would consider a remote-worker if they displayed all the relevant skills.The varied role will entail:

  • Slip production for open market business
  • DUA processing
  • Processing renewals, amendments and cancellations efficiently
  • Client/ market correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate client records in the broking systems
  • Claims administration
  • Internal coordination
  • Ensuring compliance with internal processes and risk management practices

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • MRC fluency (knowledge of the composition of an MRC)
  • Experience in quotes, schedules, endorsements and exclusions etc.
  • A general understanding of Liability insurance products
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements e.g. FCA compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Prior claims experience either administratively or ECF
