Randstad are delighted to be working alongside a renowned higher education institution based in East London. They are recruiting for an experienced Complaints Administrator to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a hybrid role working 1/2 days in their Docklands office.

Duties:

  • Provide administrative support and maintain record processes to support the Complaints and Appeals team - academic misconduct appeals, disciplinary appeals, complaints and academic appeals.
  • Maintain effective filing systems ensuring all relevant papers and reports are produced or available as requested.
  • Review incoming post and e-mails and respond/refer as appropriate.
  • Carry out general administrative duties including typing letters, filing, publicity materials, updating web content.
  • Work closely with schools and service teams to assist in administrative tasks around complaints and appeals.
  • Provide basic advice regarding complaints and appeals, working with colleagues across other teams.
  • Organise complaints and appeals processes
  • Act as secretary to the Complaints and Appeals focus group: produce agenda, undertake minutes and ensure actions have been logged.

Experience:

  • Previous experience within a higher/further education environment would be ideal, as well as an understanding of complaints processes.
  • Experience of using SITS and similar software.
