Your new companyYour new company is an insurance group with both an underwriting and brokerage arm. They are currently experiencing a period of sustained growth and are looking for a Credit Controller to join their finance team. This company champions work-place flexibility and this role is offered on a hybrid work pattern based on 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home. They are also big mental health advocates and take a genuine interest in both your professional and personal development. This role came about as one of the current Credit Controllers was promoted up to a senior level.Your new roleYour new role will be joining the growing finance team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly statements of accounts for brokers.
  • Allocating funds received and liaising with brokers around closings and slips.
  • Securing payments from debtors.
  • Responsibility for several business units escalations of credit issues.
  • Identifying inconsistencies with premiums.

What you'll need to succeedThe successful applicant will need to have at least 3 years of experience within another insurance company's finance team, ideally within the aviation, marine cargo or property business units.
