Your new companyYou will be joining an award-winning specialist patent firm with a global client base ranging from SMEs to multinational blue-chip companies. Joining a vibrant and hard-working billing team of 4 as their billing coordinator, working 3 days per week in their Chancey Lane office. This position will sit on the litigation side of the business. Your new role

  • Act as first point of contact for queries and requests
  • Organise and distribute monthly billing workload, such as preparation of WIP reports, amending WIP, drafting and finalising bills. Assist paralegals with billing queries
  • Manage eBilled clients, including the upload of LEDES files & bills, the onboarding process for new ebilled clients, managing client invoices and client rates, invoice rejections and queries
  • Oversee compliance with internal billing procedures
  • Manage disbursements
  • Produce reports and assist in monitoring of WIP and billed fees
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets

What you'll need to succeed

  • Up to 2 years legal finance experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to successfully liaise with senior colleagues/partners/stakeholders
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and driven
