Totum Partners are pleased to be working with a respected law firm in their search for a Billing Administrator to join their team. This combined billing and e-billing role is ideal for someone looking to build on their existing experience and develop further skills in both areas. The ideal billing administrator will be responsible for:

  • Assist partners and fee earners with bill preparation.
  • Support fee discussions, tenders, and client relationship management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal clients, including partners and fee earners.
  • Verify client rates and apply discounts; track and update rates.
  • Set up and maintain billing rates.
  • Learn and contribute to the Billing function's operations.
  • Provide accurate reports for internal and external use.
  • Collaborate closely with the Billing team.
  • Manage queries and requests, ensuring tasks are completed within SLAs.
  • Liaise with Finance teams to streamline processes.
  • Gain expertise in working with various e-billing systems.
  • Track bill statuses, address issues, and resolve rejections.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Communicate billing challenges and delays as needed.!

The ideal billing administrator will have:

  • Experience in billing processes within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident, proactive, and able to manage workload independently.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
