Billing Administrator

About the RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Billing Administrator to join a busy and dynamic team supporting key billing operations. This role involves a range of invoice-related tasks and would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare all aspects of the billing process.
  • Review and analyse data and job notes to make informed billing decisions.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate job costing and invoice details.
  • Raise and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clear, professional communication.
  • Communicate with customers to encourage prompt payment and resolve invoice queries.
  • Manage the allocation of funds and support the reconciliation process.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of company system data.
  • Support with additional administrative and ad-hoc tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, grade C/4 or above.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A problem-solver with a proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (training will be provided for other systems).
  • A team player with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
