We are seeking a Billings Assistant to join our hard-working and friendly accounts team. This role is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy by tracking money owed by clients, preparing invoices, and maintaining records. You will also contribute to the improvement of business processes, making this an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
Day-to-day of the role:- Produce invoices based on the agreed billing value as outlined by project/client purchase orders.
- Manage the accounts inbox and ensure timely responses to queries.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the sales team to discuss forecasted revenue and costs.
- Resolve billing and payment queries efficiently.
- Chase payments through email and phone communications.
- Support the implementation and processes of AccountsIQ, our newly implemented software.
- Assist the Financial Controller as required.
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities within the company.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and numerical skills.
- Previous experience in a billings role.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of handling multiple stakeholder communications.
