Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a talented Billing Specialist to join one of our leading global law firm clients as a part of their London Finance team. This non-exempt, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding firm.

About the Role: As a Billing Specialist, you will report to the London Finance Manager and play an integral role in the firm's billing team. Your responsibilities will include producing and reviewing pre-bills, ensuring accurate and timely billing, responding to billing queries, and preparing disbursement documentation. You will also manage work from group mailboxes, ensure compliance with SRA and HMRC legislation, and support e-Billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and review pre-bills for London and other offices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of complex billing.
  • Respond promptly to billing queries and meet with partners as needed.
  • Prepare disbursement back-up documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Monitor and self-allocate work, ensuring prompt responses to billing queries.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar finance position, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Working knowledge of CMS Aderant and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent proof-reading and research abilities.
