Excellent opportunity for an experienced legal Billing Coordinator to join the team of a law firm in the City. Salary £45-53k plus benefits. Hybrid working.

Reporting to the Accounts Manager and working as part of the broader Accounts Team, alongside a Billing Supervisor, Financial Controller and another Billing Coordinator, this role is varied and offers plenty of scope for involvement as well as good career progression in the future. Duties include -

  • Billing
  • E-billing (you will be trained how to do this if you have not done it before)
  • Liaising with the Partners on a regular basis to discuss their clients' accounts
  • Producing reports including WIP
  • Credit control
  • Speaking to clients on a regular basis regarding overdue accounts
  • Responding to queries
  • Liaising with the global accounts team to update them from time to time
  • Attending regular meetings including with Partners and Lawyers

You will need to have at least 3-5 years' experience in legal billing to include credit control in a law firm. You will also require excellent communication skills, the confidence to meet with Partners on a regular basis, the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and good IT skills.
