An opportunity has been created for a Billing Co-ordinator to provide a comprehensive and commercially focused billing service to the London office. Serving a specific business area this is chance to be involved with the largest and busiest team. The firm is a leading global £multi-billion turnover Legal Professional Services group, operating within the UK, Europe, US and Asia-PAC markets. They have developed an enviable reputation for outstanding professional services and delivering innovative products & service solutions. Key Responsibilities of the Billing Co-ordinator

  • Billing Production: Collaborate with Practice Groups and Revenue Advisors by producing bills, draft bills, and supporting breakdowns, as well as matter and costs analysis. Generate regular detailed billing schedules for Clients to ensure accurate billing.
  • Data Management: Ensure precise entry into the firm’s accounting systems for all billing actions, maintaining adherence to the firm’s policies and procedures.
  • Query Resolution: Address queries promptly and efficiently, ensuring billing/reporting deadlines are met within the required timescale.
  • Compliance: Guarantee compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) and VAT/CCO regulations, alongside dealing with write-offs, transfers, and file closures.
  • Stakeholder Management & Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with Partners, Matter Managers, and secretaries within practice groups, influencing overall client relationships through supportive and training services.

Skills & Attributes of the Billing Co-ordinator

  • Prior experience in multi-currency billing across various jurisdictions.
  • Preferable understanding of eBilling.
  • Essential knowledge of VAT and CCO regulations.
  • Determined and driven to deliver under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills are critical, alongside the ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Confident in building relationships within the team and practice.
