Edward Mann are supporting our client with the hiring of a Billing Coordinator. The role is a Full-Time Temporary role working Hybrid 3 days p/week in their office stationed in South-West London.

Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Billing Coordinator

Location: London, UK (Hybrid or On-site, depending on client requirements)

Contract Type: Temporary (3-4 Months)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Billing Coordinator for a temporary 3-4 month assignment with a dynamic and growing organisation based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in billing and AR processes to join a collaborative finance team and contribute to the smooth running of the revenue cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise and issue accurate and timely customer invoices in line with contracts or agreed schedules
  • Reconcile billing data, ensure completeness and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices via phone and email, ensuring timely collection
  • Allocate incoming payments and reconcile AR ledger balances
  • Liaise with internal teams (sales, operations, customer service) to resolve any billing or payment issues
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting related to accounts receivable
  • Maintain accurate records of all billing and collection activity
  • Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Billing role (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Strong understanding of billing cycles, invoice processing, and cash allocation
  • Excellent Excel skills; experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Able to manage workload independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Immediately available or available at short notice

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar temporary finance role
  • Knowledge of UK VAT rules and billing compliance
  • Exposure to international clients or multi-currency invoicing
