Pentagon Talent have partnered with a top 200 boutique London based Law firm in their search for an Billing Analyst to join their London team. The Billing Analyst will report into a seasoned Billing Manger who has extensive experience in the firm's processes. Working closely with the Billing manager and other team members the successful Billing Analyst will be responsible for liaising with various internal departments and senior stakeholders across the business to ensure bills are sent out accurately and in a timely manner. Duties/Responsibilities of the Billing Analyst路 Process billing received from fee-earning departments through our financial system. 路 Identify and raise billing queries with departments in a timely and professional manner. 路 Ensure the accurate and timely submission of client statements each month. 路 Provide accurate copy bills to clients as required. 路 Update system-generated bills with Purchase Order numbers and provide updated invoices to clients. 路 Work closely with the credit control team to resolve client billing queries. 路 Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules. 路 Assist the Operations Manager with the development of billing processes and system enhancements. 路 Support change management initiatives related to billing processes and system upgrades. 路 Collaborate with internal stakeholders on billing system improvements. 路 Provide assistance and cover to other members of the billing team as needed. 路 Maintain up-to-date records of query statuses and an organised filing system. 路 Build strong working relationships within the Accounts Operations Team to facilitate timely query resolution. 路 Keep the Operations Manager informed of issues and propose solutions for process improvements.Desired experience of the Billing Analyst路 Previous experience in a billing, finance, or accounts role. 路 Knowledge of financial and billing systems. 路 Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. 路 Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. 路 Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with internal stakeholders.路 Experience in the legal sector and familiarity with Solicitors Accounts Rules (desirable).
