Legal Billing Coordinator - 12-Month FTC

Totum Partners are working with a leading law firm to recruit a Legal Billing Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded firm and be part of a busy finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Process bills in line with firm policies within 48 hours.
  • Ensure compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules (SAR) and VAT regulations.
  • Handle time and disbursement transfers, write-offs, and client financial housekeeping.
  • Liaise with lawyers, PAs, and finance teams to resolve billing queries.
  • Monitor billing mailboxes and respond to requests promptly.
  • Support revenue controllers with financial reporting and maintenance tasks.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in billing, within a law firm.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident using finance systems
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
