Reed Accountancy are partnering with a growing technology business to recruit an experienced Telecoms Billing Specialist to join their UK finance team.
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work in the office just 4 days per calendar month.
The successful candidate will be responsible for various billing-related activities, ensuring that monthly billing processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-billing checks
- Generate customer invoices
- Address customer invoice queries and disputes
- Generate and review management reports
- Assist with migration to new billing systems
- Perform billing for various services
Specific Responsibilities:
- Process billing notices
- Upload customer orders and billing information
- Ensure all billable activities are included on invoices
- Validate billing details
- Load call data records and resolve any issues
- Load external records required for invoicing
- Run pre-billing previews and correct as necessary
- Run variance reports and address any errors
- Complete final pre-bill checks
- Generate and issue invoices
- Upload invoices to accounting systems
- Update customer records as needed
- Maintain and update tariff tables
- Liaise with service providers to ensure rate cards and location maps are current
- Conduct revenue assurance activities
- Generate monthly management reports
- Assist with tax provisioning

Technology: Must have excellent Excel skills and be adept in the use of MS Office. Good knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and various tools and systems. Basic SQL knowledge is preferred.
Communication: Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business reports. Ability to create reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
