Client Details

Our client is a start up Insurance company, having recently received national recognition of performance and business growth.

Description

  • Support senior associates / associates in conducting due diligence, research and risk assessment on transactions involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate deals.
  • Assist in reviewing transaction documents, due diligence, financials, contracts, and legal agreements to identify potential liabilities and risks.
  • Assist in the drafting of insurance documentation such as background checks, non-binding indications, due diligence trackers and policy wording.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and legal teams to assess the insurability of transactions and contribute to quote and policy recommendations.
  • Analyse financial statements, tax records, and other relevant data to evaluate the financial health of target companies.
  • Develop strong knowledge of transactional liability insurance products, coverage terms, and market trends.
  • Participate in client meetings, helping to explain insurance options, answering questions, and building relationships.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that impact transactional liability insurance.
  • Assist in administrative tasks related to policy documentation, premium calculations, and claims processing.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers and other market professionals to assist with the winning new business.

Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • An understanding of the insurance industry and its regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Desire to learn about complex financial transactions.
