This is a rare opportunity for someone with a strong product management background from a general insurance background. It could be personal lines or micro commercial insurance for example, E-trading would be beneficial.The likelihood is this person will originally come from an underwriting platform but developed further in their career within insurance product development and management.Throughout your time you will have facilitated the management and success of NEW products to market. This role will focus on new business products only, overseeing the strategy, development, implementation and launch. There is a structured team to support this role, with 3 senior managers reporting into this line. Whilst you will have overall responsibility, you will expect your senior management team to report into you bringing the wider platform strategy and ideas, analysis and oversight.Regular meetings with the exec management team including CEO and FD. Weekly performance and strategy review, budgets, trends, leakage.Prelaunch of products, presenting at steering committees, - of call centres performance commercially. This business is going through an evolutional period with significant work being done across the technology and AI area and past experience in this area would be hugely beneficial.Senior, autonomous role which offers flexibility with approach, ideas, management - this is not a 'one size fits all' role and it really does need an entrepreneurial approach.
