A fast-growing specialist lender, offering bridging loans and development finance to individuals, investors, property developers and professional advisors across the UK, is seeking a motivated and driven Junior Underwriter.

With previous property experience, or a desire to learn and gain exposure to the property sector, this is a fast-paced role with opportunities for growth.

Founded by experienced property developers, they aim to provide flexible, speedy financing solutions while delivering reliable returns for investors.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Underwriter:

  • Gather and organise data from internal systems, clients, and suppliers.
  • Support originators and senior underwriters in preparing reports and presentations.
  • Conduct basic checks (e.g., KYC, planning applications, Companies House records).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide support for various projects.
  • Perform ad-hoc requests from the team.

The ideal Junior Underwriter will:

  • Have experience in property, finance, or lending operations, you ideally will have had exposure to valuations, or you may have paralegal experience.
  • Be a strategic thinker with problem-solving skills.
  • Be organised, efficient, and a team player.
  • Have strong communication skills and a hands-on approach when needed.
