Providing niche insurance solutions within the shipping and transportation sectors, working directly with clients and broker partners.
Overview
- In this role you will be responsible for underwriting cargo and marine liability cover.
- Review and analyse risks information and presentations.
- Ensure that risks meet underwriting appetite and delegated parameters.
- Calculate appropriate rates and negotiate pricing.
- Work closely with clients and brokers to build long-term, trusted relationships.
- Liaise with capacity providers when necessary.
What you need to show
- 5 to 10 year's experience underwriting cargo and or marine liability insurance
- Enjoy working for a dynamic and small, independent business
- Possess strong client relationship skills
- Thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment
