PI UnderwriterLondon£60,000 - £80,000 + bonus and benefitsAn exciting new city-based MGA is seeking a PI Underwriter to join their team!A highly experienced Underwriting Manager has set up this business within a wider group, with solid financial and capacity backing. They are looking for an Underwriter to come on board and be a key player in their growth journey.
The role will will entail:
- Underwriting new and renewal PI business (as well as some Management Liability). Initially this will be international business, but UK business will be soon to follow
- Liaising with existing Brokers and nurturing those relationships, with a close eye on retention of the renewal book
- Developing and fostering new Broker relationships
- Input and development ideas for new business
- Maintaining an understanding of current market trends
- Staying abreast of changes to international licensing as per Lloyd's Crystal and other tools
This role would be ideally suited to a UK PI Underwriter looking to gain exposure to international business - full training on this will be provided!
