We are delighted to be recruiting a Program Underwriter to portfolio manage a diverse range of MGA partnerships across UK and Europe within the specialty division of a global specialty insurer.

You will be building strong relationships with MGA partners and brokers alike, focussing on new and renewal business across a broad range of products and business lines. UK and / or European underwriting experience will be essential and experience of the Delegated Authority market is preferred. In this exciting new role, you will be working collaboratively with MGA partners aiming to maximise profitability. There are significant plans for future growth in this team and you will be contributing towards this, supported by a strong management and operational infrastructure.

Requirements are:

  • Prior insurance underwriting experience, with a focus on Specialty lines.
  • An understanding of portfolio management related to program underwriting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrable ability to build and maintain relationships internally with team members and externally with clients / brokers.
