Your chance to shine
As a pivotal member of the Real Estate Technical Underwriting Department, you’ll be instrumental in supporting the Head of Property to achieve income targets, identifying opportunities and driving continuous improvements, whilst delivering underwriting profit for carriers across all lines of the underwriting agencies property business.
Reporting to the Head of Property, you'll have responsibility for managing two team members. Your duties will include setting underwriting strategy, nurturing appetite for products, establishing price and managing exposure, implementing operational controls and monitoring to ensure profitable results.

What you’ll bring
With strong interpersonal skills, you’ll be a natural leader and a team player. To deliver, you’ll need to be highly organised with a high level of underwriting decision-making experience, strong technical knowledge and some management experience. Ideally, your expertise will include trading and macro account underwriting, working in personal lines and commercial insurance and - preferably - dealing with real estate.Â

The role is fully remote, although you could work from the company’s offices in London, Manchester of Basildon. You’ll need to be able to travel to clients, so you’ll receive a £5k car allowance.
