- Underwrite and grow a profitable P&C portfolio in line with binding authorities and target loss ratios
- Own broker relationships – strengthen existing ties and seek out new opportunities in the market
- Drive new business and renewal conversion through strong negotiation and technical insight
- Ensure files and systems (Acturis, SchemeServe, Broker Partners) are maintained to the highest standard
- Collaborate closely with underwriting, admin, and finance teams to resolve queries and maintain smooth processes
- Provide feedback, share expertise, and support the wider team to continually raise our underwriting standards
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, internal policies, and professional standards at all times
- Contribute to the achievement of KPIs and performance targets set by the Underwriting Manager
