Our client, a well established Insurance Managing General Underwriter that specialises in UK Property and Casualty risks, are looking to recruit a Senior Technical Underwriter to take responsibility for providing technical underwriting support to the Underwriting team through individual referrals, taking ownership of large and complex risk underwriting, providing technical underwriting guidance to the business in respect of Binding Authorities with carriers as well as providing technical underwriting input into the development and performance of the underwriting system. You will also act within agreed underwriting authorities and participate in and undertake any tasks or projects that may be requested from time to time.

Candidates must have experience as a Commercial Property and Casualty Underwriter and experience working in an MGU/MGA and/or managing delegated authority binding authorities. Younwill possess advanced understanding of insurance principals and an understanding and appreciation of FCA guidance relating to TCF and Conduct Risk.

This is a hybrid role with three days a week working in the office (London - City) and two days a week working from home.
