Your new roleAs a Wordings Specialist, you will be an essential part of the team, supporting the underwriting business across all product lines covering a wide variety of complex risks. You will be responsible for analysing and reviewing our existing products, building new insurance products from scratch or refining and expanding existing products, and collaborating with colleagues across the team and the wider Legal Department.What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret and analyse (re)insurance clauses and/or wording requests and to satisfy these by drafting your own (re)insurance clauses and wordings from scratch in a clear and robust manner. You should also have the confidence to deliver your own wording solutions to underwriters, brokers and peers both in writing and face to face.If you have a comprehensive understanding of what the business, legal and compliance needs are for individual insurance classes and are able to plan and self-manage a workload and work under pressure whilst adhering to deadlines and competing priorities, then we want to hear from you.What you'll get in returnThis is a contract role starting in early January for six months.
