Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for SOAS University of London, who require x2 Azure Integration Engineers on a full time basis.You will work alongside the Integration Architect and other Integration Specialists and with various other I&T colleagues to design, develop and support a range of integration solutions; contributing significantly to the School's integration and Business Intelligence offering.Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support a range of integration solutions; contributing significantly to the School's integration and Business Intelligence offering.
- Responsible for requirements gathering and analysis and translating the requirements into robust solutions which satisfy the stakeholders.
- Responsible for documenting and testing solutions prior to releasing them for UAT and then production deployment.
- Required to build good working relationships with a variety of colleagues from end-users to project managers and, occasionally, external partners or vendors.
Role RequirementsKnowledge of the following is required:
- Data structures
- ETL solution development
- SOA and web services
- SQL and reporting technologies (predominantly MS SQL and ORACLE)
- Windows/*nix
- Business Intelligence
- Master data management
About youYou will need to demonstrate experience in a representative selection of the following:
- Development experience relating to ETL, SSIS and other middleware technologiesIntegration development experience relating to webservices, SQL and C#.
- Ability to configure SSIS packages, SQL server, SSRS, Power BI or related technologies.
- Experience of Microsoft Azure
- Analytical and problem-solving capability across a broad range of IT areas not limited to the technological specialism of the role.
- SITS knowledge is desirable
- Experience in the Higher Education is desirable
