Salary up to £65,000 + Benefits

Early stage, PE backed and highly acquisitive business is looking for an ambitious French speaking IT Engineer to join the team. The focus of this role will be integrating acquired businesses into the group with a focus on the French market. This will involve a great deal of project oriented migration work, across the Microsoft suite of products.

The role will involve monthly travel to France to meet with the acquired businesses senior leadership team, to understand the IT environment, and create a project plan to integrate them into the group structure. The ability to understand stakeholder requirements, give confidence and advice to non-technical stakeholders will be key at this stage. As will strong Project work and delivery experience.

Focus areas will be:

  • Microsoft 365 Migrations (Mailboxes, Sharepoint etc)
  • InTune administration
  • Server and File Storage - Admin and Migration
  • Firewalls & Antivirus
  • Backup solutions
  • Telephony
  • Unified laptops / mobile
  • Digitisation tools for acquired businesses
  • IT Support using MS365

The business is UK based and they offer fully remote work, however there will be a need to travel to the offices of acquired businesses in France approximately once per month for a couple of days at a time, as well as to attend monthly team meetings in London with the odd day onsite in the UK as required. So flexibility with French and UK travel, with an otherwise remote work day is essential.
