PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS INTEGRATION ENGINEER - LONDON OR WEST MIDLANDS - PERMANENT - £40,750 - £65,580ARM are working with a major infrastructure company within rail and we are recruiting for a Principal Systems Integration Engineer to join their team in either London or the West Midlands. About You:- You will be an experienced systems integration specialist within rail and will have covered one or more of the following specialist areas; signaling, rolling stock, SCADA or telecoms within a railway setting. - You will have demonstrable experience of using DOORS and SysML. - Your background is likely to have been more contract side than client side, but we can consider either. - This is a senior level role with management responsibilities, so you will have experience of managing and mentoring others too. What you will be doing:This position will be working with contractors and ensuring systems integrate with one another on the railway. You will be creating integration diagrams, linking systems to operators and ensuring that the technical challenge is met by all parties, which will create a fully working railway. You will be an expert in your role, hence the level of seniority on this role. They are currently using the Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver on the project of work, so any experience within this may be useful also. We have two permanent positions and can be based in either London or Birmingham. The roles are working using the hybrid method and will require both office and home working. Salary for these roles are between £40,750 and £65,580 and will be dependent on experience and suitability, as well as location chosen to be based from.
