Exciting opportunity for a Senior Integration Lead to join a leading insurance company.

Length: 6 months

Location: Hybrid 2 days on-site in London

Project DetailsThe business is going through a fundamental change and constantly adapting and changing how they deliver insurance capabilities to the market and are constantly adapting and enhancing their services.

RequirementA Senior Engineering Integration Lead to work within the Motor business across multiple teams on the implementation of the future road-maps in order for the business to meet the strategic business goals.Provide Engineering Leadership to a high performing, collaborative team comprising internal and external technical specialists and managers towards a common goal. Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.Provide Technical Leadership across integration's on the motor platform;

  • Set direction and ensure the Software Engineering practice adheres to the agreed policies, standards and governance
  • Deliver Technical Examples, Proof of Concepts and Templates for Teams to adopt, streamlining projects bootstrapping and enabling existing projects to adopt appropriate practices
  • Perform Technical Spikes required in applications and Processes for assessment
  • Propose new tools and adoption road-map
  • Work with suppliers and teams to ensure practices are adopted and feedback included in the practice change
  • Work closely with the business area and leadership team to drive progress against the plan and identify any areas where mitigation's or interventions are required
  • Effectively manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change requests.
  • Input into and maintain proactive stakeholder management and stakeholder communications.

Technical Skills

  • Mulesoft 3.9 and 4.x (self hosted)
  • REST / SOAP / RPC in-depth knowledge
  • AWS services and patterns
  • Full Stack Engineering Thinking
  • Implementation of Engineering Best Practices
  • Implementation of Observability standards
  • Adherence to Security standards
  • Experience of 24x7 operational systems as well as high volume trading activity
  • Useful knowledge of Oracle and Kafka
