Murray McIntosh are currently searching for an Systems Engineer to join a key client of ours on a permanent basis as detailed below.
About the role:
- Configuring software for our client's customers based across Greater London.
- Our client's systems are deployed across a range of regulated industries: oil and gas platforms, public infrastructure and more
- In this role you will be visiting client sites 2-3 days per week. The remaining days you will be working at home, writing reports, preparing for meetings and managing visitation records
Experience required:
- Strong IP protocols & networking principles knowledge
- Troubleshooting Windows OS components (active directory, file sharing, clustering, GPO, performance monitoring etc)
- Understanding of TCP, IP & UDP Protocol stack
- Understanding of network storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI) principles and best practises
- Familiarity with SQL
Key Details:
- Location - Based from home with a commutable distance to London/ Greater London
- Package - £45k base, £5250 car allowance, all business expenses paid for (including travel), extra overtime pay and other fantastic benefits
