Our client, a renowned entertainment PR business, is seeking a Publicist to create PR campaigns and communications materials for high profile clients on their roster.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Strategizing global PR campaigns across the company’s roster.· Creating press releases, media, new client pitches, social media content and internal communications.· Ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels with collaboration with internal teams.· Collaborating with artist management, record labels, independent teams and agents to integrate PR activity within artist campaigns.· Reporting on campaign strategy regularly.· Communicating campaign strategy to artists’ management in regular reporting.· Attending out of hours gigs.· Working across different time zones and attending promotional events, and meetings with managements and labels.· Connecting with a network of creatives, brands, event organisers, cultural influencers, and journalists globally.· Mentoring and managing team members where needed.
Requirements:
· Expert level communication and writing skills.· Substantial experience as a Publicist in entertainment essential.· Proven track record of successful campaigns and crisis management and confident and experienced working with 3rd party brand/deals.· Able to craft clear and compelling messages for various audiences.· Able to report on updates in a succinct and clear manner.· Possess a network of journalists, and media contacts.· Strong interpersonal skills.· Experience managing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively.· Project management skills.· Able to generate innovative ideas and plan strategy for talent publicity campaigns.· Interest in fashion, sport, the arts, and music.· Willing to mentor team members and work collaboratively.
