As an Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of designers, ensuring the timely and successful execution of all design stages, from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Manage and oversee multiple international lighting design projects, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and high-quality standards.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting their development and growth.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, acting as the main point of contact throughout the design process.
  • Design Excellence: Deliver exceptional lighting design solutions across a variety of sectors, ensuring creativity, innovation, and technical precision in all aspects of the work.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate lighting solutions seamlessly into broader project designs.
  • Technical Oversight: Supervise the production of detailed design documentation, lighting calculations, and specifications.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in lighting design, with a strong portfolio of high-profile, international projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior lighting design role, with demonstrable leadership experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of lighting technologies, design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Dialux, Relux), and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external consultants.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional creativity and attention to detail, with a passion for design excellence.
  • A relevant degree or qualification in lighting design, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
