This role will see the successful candidate partake in a variety of duties from conceptual design and material selection to preparing FF&E presentations and assisting with procurement. The Role:
- Working at a Mid-weight level within projects ,working to timelines and budgets
- Create conceptual designs including colour and texture through Adobe Creative Suit utilising knowledge on materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling
- Attend project / client meetings to be briefed on new projects
- Carry out, where necessary, the procurement of furniture, fixture and equipment products
- Mentor and support Junior FF&E Designers
- Attend project meetings, giving input on developing concepts, suggesting suitable finishes and fabrics where applicable
- Produce FF&E presentations and packs for client meetings, guided by the Senior FF&E Designer, highlighting costings, materials, finishes and sanitary schedules
- Nurture relationships with suppliers and suggest new contacts, keep up to date with new advancements in FF&E
The Person:
- Proven experience in a similar hospitality design role
- Proof of narrative driven FF&E decision making
