Kitchen Designer

Simon Acres Recruitment are proud to be working with a luxury German kitchen retailer based in Central London who are seeking a Senior Kitchen Designer.

This is a permanent position paying up to £30,000 basic, plus 10% commission, £80,000 OTE (uncapped commission).

You will be supported for the first 6 months whilst building your pipeline with a guaranteed bonus inclusive of your basic will equate to £60,000 per annum for the first 3 months, before moving onto a sliding scale for the remaining 3 months.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm, Saturday, 10.00am - 4.00pm (working 5 days out of 7, with two days off. 2 Saturdays on and 1 off).

As an experienced and high performing Senior Kitchen Designer within the luxury kitchen market, you will be well connected with architects, interior designers and specifiers.

The Role:

• Possessing an excellent and advanced knowledge of kitchen design within the luxury market.
• Achieving quarterly and annual sales target.
• Designing and creating kitchens using Winner CAD software.
• Understanding the customers brief and turning into reality, exceeding all expectations.
• Preparing design proposals for presentation.
• Handling all aspects of the design and planning, including on-site surveys.
• Managing each project from start to completion, including installation and snagging issues.
• Providing outstanding customer service.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience of working within the high-end luxury market (ideally a minimum of 3years).
• Proven ability to design within the luxury KBB market.
• Hungry and driven to find and follow up leads.
• Strong networking skills; able to develop relationships with interior designs and architects.
• Compusoft Winner experience (preferable).
• High attention to detail, professional with an excellent sales acumen.
• Proven track record in kitchen design and able to provide examples of own design work as well as sales figures (circa. £1m p/a).
