Mid-Weight Interior Designer (3-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Introduction:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join a renowned studio specializing in luxury hospitality design on a 3-month fixed-term contract. Based in the heart of London, the studio is known for delivering exceptional, high-quality projects that redefine luxury spaces.

This role is ideal for a designer with a strong background in technical detailing and space planning, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. You will be an integral part of the team during a key project phase, contributing to technical design development and documentation.



Package:

  • Salary: £38,000 £45,000 p/annum
  • Hybrid Working - 2 days per week from home
  • Pension Contributions


Office Details:

  • Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Hybrid Working: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote


Duties:

  • Collaborate on the technical delivery of luxury hospitality projects, focusing on space planning, technical documentation, and detailing.
  • Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings and ensure designs adhere to studio standards and client expectations.
  • Develop 3D models and layouts using SketchUp to visualize and refine space planning concepts.
  • Work closely with the senior design team to create comprehensive technical packages.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is realized during installation and construction phases.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to source technical materials and provide solutions for project challenges.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in interior design, ideally within luxury hospitality or similar sectors
  • Degree qualified in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (essential)
  • Strong understanding of technical detailing, documentation, and space planning
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
