A client based in London N4 is recruiting for an Interior Designer/Project Manager to join their team, the successful candidate will manage the designs of projects. This role is office based, paying a salary a salary of up to £40,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and builders on site, with prompt responses to requests
  • Ensure that designs are constantly updated in writing and all changes are documented
  • Explain and liaise with builders on design elements and drawings
  • Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories for each project
  • Identify and address any snags or defects versus designs on-site
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Keep the team of designers in the office updated with daily results or changes on sites

Experience:

  • Must have previous work experience in a similar role at an Interior Design office.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings
  • Ability to update project schedules and budgets
  • Experience in purchasing and ordering materials
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Effective communication skills with clients and team members
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Skills:

  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office and Photoshop (Revit,

AutoCAD, 3Ds Max would be an advantage but not essential

  • Strong pProblem-solving abilities
